The number of students—at all grade levels—taking classes and completing assignments online continues to grow. With USF’s Master of Online Teaching degree, licensed educators like you can discover and apply several methods to create and teach quality online lessons— while reaping the career and salary advancement benefits that come with a master’s.
Guided by Franciscan values, USF MOT graduates have a profound impact on their students as they reverence each person’s unique dignity and encourage a trustful community of learners in their classrooms.
You’ll learn from longtime educators with extensive online experience, all in a program structure that helps you balance your studies with the rest of your schedule. USF’s Virtual Campus has six start dates during the year, and most courses are offered in short eight-week sessions.
You can complete your master’s by taking just 12 courses for a total of 36 credit hours. Each course builds on your existing skills as you adapt your teaching style to better meet the needs of online learners.

“Not every learner is the same. When I treat my students on an individual level, it matters to them. USF treated me the same way; I wasn’t just a number. When I teach, I carry that on with me.”
