Effectively create and teach online lessons and courses

Even before the COVID-19 pandemic, demand for online courses at all grade levels was rapidly increasing, with about 21% of public elementary and secondary schools nationwide offering at least one course entirely online. (NCES)

USF’s Certificate in Online Teaching (Non-Licensure) helps teachers inside and outside Indiana quickly meet this need as they develop and deliver engaging online courses to a diverse student body.

Guided by Franciscan values, USF Certificate in Online Teaching graduates have a profound impact as they reverence each student’s unique dignity and encourage a trustful community of learners in their classrooms.

“Not every learner is the same. When I treat my students on an individual level, it matters to them. USF treated me the same way; I wasn’t just a number. When I teach, I carry that on with me.”

—Nadzara Sakinovic, USF Education Bachelor’s and Master’s Graduate
